TRIDEC Services, Inc., a woman-owned small business (WOSB), was founded by Dr. Julie Markoski in 2019 with the mission of advancing and commercializing new technologies. Dr. Markoski excels across the entire technology value chain from proposal preparation, securing non-dilutive funding, intellectual property protection, and directing engineering teams to develop and commercialize innovative new technologies within the physical and biological sciences. Areas of technical expertise include: organic materials and polymers, power and energy solutions, and medical devices.
Prior to founding TRIDEC Services, Dr. Markoski co-founded INI Power Systems, Inc. in 2002 where she helped raise over $5 million in venture and non-dilutive funding. INI Power went on to perform funded R&D, patent protections, and product development in the power and energy space for the DoD where they successfully commercialized several proprietary products. Additionally, Dr. Markoski co-founded the Intrepid Learning Academy to homeschool her three children while consulting in technology commercialization analysis for an array of clients for Fuentek, LLC for over 10 years. She evaluated and made recommendations for new innovations from Government and university research labs regarding commercial potential. Some of her analytical expertise included: materials, chemistry, polymers, biotechnology, biomedical devices, sensors and actuators, nanotechnology, MEMs, and others.
At TRIDEC Services, Dr. Markoski and her team have submitted several proposals (with a focus on small business set-asides), been awarded contracts, partnered with new clients to develop products, and secured non-dilutive SBIR funding within the DOD.
Outside of work, Dr. Markoski enjoys raising her children, volunteering for their swim team, baking, reading, and hiking and running in nearby parks.
